Term Appointment Postings for the following

 District Courts and Specialty Dockets

178th District Court:   One Term Attorney for a thirty (30) day term each month throughout the year to represent indigent defendants in motions to revoke probation or adjudicate guilt and state jail felonies.

209th District Court:   Six Term Attorneys for one-year term appointment to represent indigent defendants, except for capital cases and appeals.  

337th District Court:   Two Term Attorney for a one-year term appointment.  One is to represent indigent defendants on motions to revoke or adjudicate guilt and a limited number of state jail felonies.  The other is to represent indigent defendants, except for capital cases and appeals . 

337th District Court:  Two term attorneys for a one-year term appointment to represent those defendants who are currently under supervision of the Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections's Department (HCCSCD), and who have been placed on the 337th MHC-CTI docket.

208th District Court:  Four Term Attorneys for a one-year term appointment to represent indigent defendants, except for capital cases and appeals. 

262nd District Court:  Two Term Attorneys for a one-year term appointment to represent indigent defendants, except for capital cases and appeals.

351st Competency Restoration:  Four Term Attorneys for a one-year term appointment to advise and represent individuals accepted into the program.

351st MHC-CTI Docket:  Two term attorneys for a one-year term appointment to represent those defendants who are currently under supervision of the Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections's Department (HCCSCD), and who have been placed on the 351st MHC-CTI docket.

228th District Court:  Two Term Attorneys for a one-year term appointment to represent indigent defendants, except for capital cases and appeals.

228th District Court:  One attorney for a one year term to handle all post conviction DNA proceedings.

Veteran's Court:  Two attorneys for a one-year term appointed to represent indigent defendants enrolled in the Veteran's Court (VC) program.

STAR Docket:  Four attorneys for a one-year term appointed to represent indigent defendants enrolled in the Star Court (YY) program.

183rd District Court:   Three attorneys for a one-year term to handle all non-death, post conviction proceedings including direct appeals and post conviction writs.

183rd District Court:  One attorney for a one-year term to handle all post-conviction DNA proceedings.

232nd District Court:  Three attorneys for one-year terms to handle all non-death, post conviction proceedings including direct appeals, post conviction writs and DNA motions.

339th District Court:  One attorney for a one-year term to handle all post conviction DNA proceedings.

338th District Court:  
 One Term Attorney for a one-year term appointment.  The attorney is to represent indigent defendants on motions to revoke or adjudicate guilt and a limited number of state jail felonies.

 177th District Court:  Two Term Attorneys for a one-year term appointment.  The attorney is to represent indigent defendants on motions to revoke and/or adjudicate guilt and a limited number of state jail and third degree felonies on Thursdays only.
