BOND DOCKET PROCEDURES FOR DECLARED COVID-19 PANDEMIC

THIS NOTICE DOES NOT APPLY TO DEFENDANTS WHO HAVE NOT YET HAD A SETTING IN THEIR ASSIGNED DISTRICT COURT.  ALL DEFENDANTS RELEASED FROM CUSTODY ON OR AFTER MARCH 18, 2020, MUST REPORT TO COURT AS DIRECTED UPON RELEASE.


*IF YOU ARE DISPLAYING COLD/FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS: COUGHING, SNEEZING, FEVER, CONTACT YOUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDER AND SPEAK TO YOUR ATTORNEY TO RESCHEDULE YOUR COURT DATE.*    

YOU MUST CONTACT YOUR ATTORNEY, BONDING COMPANY OR PRETRIAL SERVICES TO FIND OUT YOUR NEW COURT DATE.

RESCHEDULING OF BOND CASES:
1) Court Coordinator has notified attorneys and bonding companies of the new court date.
2) Attorneys and Bonding Companies should check hcdistrictclerk.com for the rescheduled court date. 
3) Attorneys should notify the Court Coordinator for rescheduling conflicts at
laronda_teamer@justex.net .     

NO PERSON, OTHER THAN THE COURT REPORTER, MAY RECORD A COURT PROCEEDING WITHOUT THE COURT’S PERMISSION.  THIS PROHIBITION APPLIES TO ALL PERSONS, INCLUDING MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC VIEWING COURT PROCEEDINGS ON ANY COURT’S YOUTUBE CHANNEL AND TO PERSONS WITH THE ABILITY TO RECORD ANY ZOOM OR OTHER VIRTUAL COURT PROCEEDING.  ANY PERSON FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THIS ORDER FACES CONTEMPT PROCEEDINGS, INCLUDING A fine of up to $500 and a sentence of confinement for up to six (6) months in jail for each act of contempt of court.
