Attorneys:
Please do not have client's come to court just for a reset.
Your client's appearance is waived UNLESS one of the following applies:
They have a pending Motion to Adjudicate or Motion to Revoke Probation
They are going to plea
They need to make an appointment for a TRAS (the evaluation for probation)
They are requesting a change to their bond conditions or need to receive conditions
They have a warrant
The Court requests their appearance
Docket begins at 8:30 a.m.
If your client's appearance is not waived (see above), they must be in court by 8:30 a.m.
If your client is late, they must check in with the bailiff as soon as they arrive.
Before the court setting, prosecutors and defense attorneys should contact opposing counsel to discuss their cases. Attorneys should speak with their client the day before the setting to ensure that they will be available by phone for docket.
Every effort will be made to hear off-docket matters. However, if things are too busy, attorneys will be asked to return later in the morning.
Except in special circumstances, off-docket resets will not be granted unless:
1) Your client is on bond
2) The case is less than 6 months old
3) The court is contacted at least 2 business days before the date the case is set
Please check this website frequently, any changes to court procedure will be updated here.
