General Information<br></span></strong></span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Listed below is information concerning the trial docket for the 295th District Court.If you have any questions regarding the trial docket, please contact the trial coordinator, Willie Frazier at 832-927-1384 or <a href=\"mailto:Willie_Frazier@justex.net\">Willie_Frazier@justex.net</a>.</span></p><ol><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">All cases are automatically set for trial after the answer of a Defendant.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">The 295th District Court does not conduct Docket Call.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Pre-Trial Conferences are conducted at the time of trial, if 30 minutes or less, if additional time is needed contact the trial coordinator.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Motions for Continuances need to be filed as soon as possible preferably 7 days prior to trial and before you are assigned.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Make sure you comply with the Rule of Civil Procedure with regard to pre-trial filings.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">You are on stand-by notice the entire two-week period of the trial docket. We will of course, keep you posted if you are the next trial up so that you may schedule witnesses, etc. This means you may be called to trial at any time during that two-week period.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Do not make an in-person appearance for trial on the Monday you are set. Deadlines<br></span></span></strong></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Motions in Limine which are in addition to the Court's Standing Motion in Limine, and exhibits must be exchanged among all parties pursuant to the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, but no later than 14 days before voir dire examination. Deposition excerpts shall be exchanged and filed as soon as practical but no later than 7 days prior to the voir dire examination. Objections to the excerpts shall be filed no later than 3 days prior to voir dire examination. When filing objections the deposition itself must be submitted.
